PINNACLE SYSTEMS CHOOSE ATTO TECHNOLOGY
ATTO Technology, manufacturers of Fibre Channel and SCSI solutions, have announced that Pinnacle Systems, providers of desktop and consumer computer video and editing products, have selected the ATTO ExpressPCI UL3D SCSI host bus adaptor for Pinnacle Systems Cinewave video editing system.
Director of Media Creation Solutions at Pinnacle Systems, Forest Key, said: “As the reality of HD video becomes more apparent to the multimedia arena, the need for connectivity solutions that deliver superior throughput and high levels of data integrity is critical. The ATTO ExpressPCI UL3D host adaptor will provide Cinewave users with consistent performance and reliable playback of HD and SD uncompressed images. It will sustain throughput needed by our professional users in a variety of multimedia arenas.”
This announcement illustrates ATTO’s drive to provide products for market and high demand performance.
