MSA Focus to showcase ForeTV at NAB 2006

MSA Focus is to reveal the broadcast industry’s next-generation automated broadcast management system to audiences at NAB 2006.
The new suite, ForeTV, is to migrate MSA Focus’ flagship solutions onto an industry-standard Visual Studio.NET platform and be the first such product to reach the market. The company will also announce beta-tests and applications including commercial broadcasts and IPTV.
MSA Focus is to detail its aggressive launch roadmap, including availability at IBC 2006, an anticipated full year before its competitors. The revolutionary new product will include enhanced workflow functionality for sales, scheduling and digital asset management of all content from adverts and programmes through to promotions, secondary events and interactive elements.
ForeTV’s new operating platform improves accessibility to and interoperability with more databases and offers an intuitive, Windows-based look and feel. In addition to desktop-embedded passwords, resizable windows, the ability to open multiple screens simultaneously with standard Windows commands and offers customisable dictionaries for multiple language support. Further, ForeTV’s improved ease of use reduces training and support costs.
“ForeTV attracted enormous interest at its IBC 2005 preview and its NAB 2006 showcase is an exciting opportunity for North American broadcasters to experience the future of ad sales traffic and billing,” says MSA Focus’ MD Mark Evans. “It has applications in all sectors of broadcast business as our success stories to be announced at the show will demonstrate.”
MSA Focus is exhibiting at NAB 2006 in Las Vegas between 24 and 27 April on stand SU5014.
