MSA Focus Expands In Far East With New Kuala Lumpur Office

Driven by the need to accommodate rapid growth in software development staff numbers, MSA Focus, a leading developer of broadcast management systems, is moving to a new office building in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, with more than twice the capacity of its existing facility in the Malaysian capital.
The expansion has been facilitated by the company's adoption of Microsoft.Net technology for its industry-leading broadcast management system ForeTV.
The .Net source code is hosted at MSA Focus' Cardiff headquarters but can be accessed remotely, allowing developers in the UK and Malaysia to work on it simultaneously. In addition, .Net is used extensively by businesses and is taught in universities across the world. As a result, MSA Focus is able to recruit from a broad selection of engineers in Malaysia with the required skills.
According to Phua Lik Chin, Regional Manager of MSA Focus Asia, said: "South East Asia is a key market for us, so the ability to deploy an expanded workforce with extensive knowledge of local language and laws and the prevailing business culture is a key benefit."
Mark Evans, Managing Director of MSA Focus, added: "Our staff numbers in Malaysia have approximately doubled in the last six months alone reflecting growing business and sales in the region. Our new offices give us the scalability to employ more developers, trainers and implementation support staff and to enhance the service we offer customers as a result."
