Dayang and QuStream announce joint development and marketing partnership
Dayang International and QuStream Corporation have announced a joint development and sales/marketing agreement.
The two companies will co-operate in designing and supplying systems for worldwide broadcast and professional video production markets. In addition, Dayang will provide marketing and technical support for Qustream's product range in Asia Pacific region, including the People's Republic of China.
Dayang International's president and CEO Karlton Burn commented: "Dayang and QuStream have complementary products which will greatly enhance the capabilities of both companies.
"QuStream shares Dayang's commitment to a multistandard HD/SD future. The corporation's PESA division has a very high reputation for its routing and master control switchers and distribution amplifiers.
"Complementing our new range of fibre-optic products, PESA's innovative FXD optical routing switcher will enable us to offer compact, high-capacity distribution systems for use at bandwidths from 3 Mbit/s up to 40 Gbit/s. This has great potential in many areas of broadcasting. In addition, QuStream's FortelDTV division has an outstanding reputation for signal conversion and image processing of the highest quality.
"Dayang's strengths are in HD, SD and multistandard video editing systems, data storage and networking, media asset management and multichannel image displays. Television broadcasters, news channels and media archives in many countries have chosen Dayang systems as the foundation of their operations."
