Xytech hires Darrel Gardner as Implementation Manager

Xytech Systems UK, one of the UK’s leading supplier of business software to the studio, post production and broadcast industry, has announced the appointments of Matt Waldock as Director, UK Operations and Darrel Gardner as Implementation Manager.
In his new role, Waldock will be responsible for the day to day running of all UK and European operations, heading up an ever expanding team based at the company’s London HQ in Soho. Gardner, who joins the team from TVi and Ascent Media, will be responsible for the implementation of Xytech’s Enterprise and Express Products.
Gardner, who takes up his post with immediate effect, has an excellent reputation earned from over eight years in experience post production. He has been an Enterprise user for over five years having worked on various projects such as the integration of Enterprise and JD Edwards.
Gardner said: “I am extremely pleased to have joined Xytech Systems UK. As a system user for many years myself, I know the extensive power and capabilities of the software, and the huge benefits that it offers companies within the media industry.”
Matt Waldock, Director, UK Operations, added: “We are delighted that Darrel has chosen to join us. He brings with him a wealth of experience and excellent communication skills that will allow him to join our implementation team with ease. He will be a very valuable new member of the team.
“Since the UK site was established five years ago, Xytech’s dramatic expansion across the UK and Europe has been a fantastic success story. I am very pleased to be part of that and look forward to continuing and building upon the good work of recent years at what is a very exciting time for the Corporation.”
Both Waldock and Gardner take up their posts with immediate effect.
