LACIE LAUNCH 75GB FIREWIRE HARD DRIVE

LACIE have announced the availability of the 75GB FireWire hard drive, the company’s latest advancement in FireWire technology.
The LaCie 75GB FireWire HDD are the industry’s highest capacity FireWire hard drive providing enough memory to store over five hours of DV video or more than 100 CD-Audio disks.
The drive is hot pluggable and mounts automatically when connected. The high capacity hard drive provides digital video, music and digital imaging professionals with a secure storage capability and a fast efficient means of exchanging large files, such as high-resolution photos and videos with no loss of quality.

Acting as a data shuttle the LaCie FireWire HDD also allows several professionals to work successively on the same project from their own machine.
This capability provides users with the added security of being able to immediately plug the LaCie hard disk into another computer and continue working on the same files in the event of a crash.
