ITN commits to Sirius Gold at IBC 2005

Pro-Bel, manufacturer and supplier of routing, signal processing, master control, automation and workflow technologies, has announced that London-based ITN has committed to purchase a Sirius Gold router for planned install in the fourth quarter of this year.
The router is to be used as part of ITN's ongoing business expansion for its new media and archive operations. It is also part of its continued investment in ITV and Channel 4 news programming. Sirius Gold has been specifically designed by Pro-Bel to allow the high end functionality of its Sirius range to be specified in sizes of 512 x 512 and upwards. ITN's 512 x 512 router will be situated in the company's central London facility.
Keith Cass, Director of Technology with ITN, said: "We have worked with Pro-Bel for many years and we are pleased to be able to extend this relationship. Sirius Gold will allow us to satisfy our ambitions."
Graham Pitman, Pro-Bel CEO, added: "It is not often that a commitment to purchase of this size is received at a trade show and we are pleased that it has happened here at IBC2005. This is the second Sirius Gold relationship that we have announced at the show and we are excited that once again our technological road map is proving accurate."
