DIGITAL IMPACT ON MONEY CHANNEL INTERACTIVE

DIGITAL Impact, the Exeter based producers of interactive software applications for digital television, have announced the launch of Interactive Advertisements on The Money Channel.
The advertisements are for PPP Healthcare, Aberdeen Asset Management, Dresdner RCM Global Investors and the IFAP, have interactive features enabling literature requests at the touch of a button.
The Money Channel are the first third party channel broadcasting on Sky Digital able to playout interactive advertisements at any time as part of their schedule. Digital Impact have been the Money Channel’s major technical consultant for the duration of this project.
In addition to overall project management, technical consultancy and design, Digital Impact’s flexible xStreamer interactive application playout system, which allows enhanced television applications to be manually played out with a fine degree of control alongside the channel’s normal audio and video output.
The Money Channel is currently playing out interactive advertisement applications authored by Open, but they are looking further exploit the system in the future by exploring the delivery of more advanced interactive applications alongside all aspects of their channel’s output. (CMcL)
