Never.no Joins 1-2-1VIEW To Develop Interactive Digital Signs

never.no, a global leader in interactive video and mobile technology, has announced that it has agreed to a partnership with Singapore-based 1-2-1VIEW to develop sophisticated digital signs with which viewers can interact in real time using their mobile phones.
By combining 1-2-1VIEW's expertise in signage and audience measurement with never.no's unique interactive software platform, the partnership will yield IP-based, flexible, viewer-friendly digital signage systems that provide advertisers with useful demographic and geographic information about consumers.
Alfred Chong, CEO of 1-2-1VIEW, said: "This unprecedented and powerful platform will create an engaging experience for consumers while also satisfying a need in the digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising market.
"In a short time, the statistics gleaned from interactive digital signs will become a powerful tool for advertisers, enabling them to target content ever more precisely and cost-effectively."
Besides merging technologies to develop a new signage system, never.no and 1-2-1VIEW will become sales channel partners for one another's technologies, according to the new partnership agreement.
Lars Lauritzsen, never.no Chief Executive Officer, said: "Joining with 1-2-1VIEW will enhance our ability to market our technology in the fast-growing Asia DOOH market, besides giving us a complementary technology partner. We look forward to a long and mutually successful relationship."
never.no's interactive video platform enables audience participation by modifying the video stream based on live, user-submitted content. Able to function with traditional TV, Web TV, IPTV and mobile TV platforms, the never.no product suite powers interactive TV formats and entire channels and allows viewers to participate through mobile phones and the internet.
