DGP COMPLETE SUITE UPGRADES
DGP, one of the UK’s leading post-production and new media facilities, have announced the completion of the recent upgrading and refurbishment of their suites.
Over the last two months DGP have upgraded their existing six Avid Suites, built two new suites and installed a new centralised Machine Room. The new additions to the DGP facility are a Symphony Universal Version 3 suite, which offers uncompressed picture quality, primary and secondary colour correction, real-time Ultimatte keying and four point motion tracking, which DGP will market alongside their Discreet Smoke.
Coupled with this, an Avid Xpress Elite has been installed primarily for Symphony conforms, simple off-lines and onlines and use by the facility’s DVD department.
DGP now houses eight Avid suites, five of which are online and work uncompressed, with the remaining three operating as offline suites.
All of the edit suites are now running Version 10 software on Windows NT. (CD)
