Altered Images complete Manchester refit

Altered Images Midlands office, part of the Shepperton-based broadcast systems reseller, has just completed a major refit of the audio visual equipment in the Manchester United Megastore at Old Trafford.
The refit was on behalf of Manchester United Merchandising Ltd, the Premiership Club's retail marketing arm.
Approaching £50,000, the Manchester United Football Club (MUFC) Megastore AV upgrade was part of a general refitting of the clothes shop, just a few yards away from the Old Trafford stadium.
Altered Images' brief was to improve the Nike-sponsored MUFC Megastore¹s existing in-store entertainment system. The project involved removing the current plasma screens and replacing them with superior LCD plasma panel systems, repairing, modifying and re-programming the existing AMX control system, and replacing and improving the existing audio system.
Altered Images worked closely with Manchester United Merchandising Legal Manager Julian Harris and Jayne Davies, Head of Retail. The equipment installed included seven Samsung 40" LCD monitors, AMX control equipment and audio amplifiers.
