Altered Images Opens In Manchester

One of the UK’s top post production technology resellers, Altered Images, is planning further expansion in 2008 by opening new premises in Manchester.
The new facilities will provide extended sales and technical support for clients in the north of England.
For 10 years Altered Images has specialised in delivering production systems, installation and technical backup for production, post and broadcast as well as a variety of corporate organisations.
Tim Cunningham, Sales Manager for the new operation, said: "The new offices will expand our sales and support for leading production companies and broadcasters in the North of England."
We are uniquely placed to understand and advise on the detailed requirements necessary to create workflow environments.
David Johnson, Managing Director, added: "We have grown at a substantial rate over the last ten years, this is because we offer our clients a better service and full technical back up – we’re not just shifting boxes but provided strong consultancy and technical know how for our clients all over the country.
"The new location will provide us with much needed room for further expansion, and will help us further develop business with our partners Avid, Anystream, Apple, Editshare, Panasonic, JVC, Snell & Wilcox and others."
The opening of the Manchester office coincides with the development of the UK Media City based in Salford Quays, this is a pivotal expansion for Manchester and the UK broadcast and post industries, and Altered Images will be right in the centre of this creative growth.
The new offices will be at Technology House Lissadel Street, Salford, Manchester, M6 6AP Telephone 0161 278 2429.
