HTV WEST SEEK NAKED DIY RECRUITS
BRISTOL based HTV West are putting together a brand new DIY series scheduled to be screened later in the year.
‘Naked DIY’ will focus on self-build homes, how to achieve that perfect property and what to do when your period house falls about your ears.
HTV West wants to hear from you if you are in the process or turmoil (as the case may be) of creating your own dream home. Or if you have already completed it and have plenty of photographic material showing the various stages including the triumphs and disasters.
One self-build home that will be featured in the series is the conversion of the old Shoe Factory in Crewkerne in Somerset owned by Ben Hartshorn who plans to turn it into a modern house for his young family.
The programme will follow the fortunes of Ben, Kate and little Lily as they work through the trials and tribulations of turning a Victorian industrial building into their dream home.
Other features of the series will include how to use architectural salvage in your own home, new and easy ways to design your own interiors as well as decorative finishes and choosing and renovating furniture.
