IMAGINE LAUNCH MPEGCARVER EDITING SOFTWARE

ST. ALBANS based Imagine Graphics, specialists in computer display technology and digital video systems, are presenting B & M’s Frame Accurate Editing Software ‘MpegCarver’ to the market this month.
The frame-accurate editing software has MPEG stream seeking, browsing and editing technologies. One feature is the in-file titling capability that allows the user to add any graphics or text as an overlay in any MPEG stream file. MpegCarver requires no special PC hardware and is designed to be a ‘must have’ set of tools to enhance editing ease and capability
Norman Garland, MD of Imagine Graphic, said: "Once digital or analogue video has been encoded to an MPEG format file there is, until now, very little a user can do to make changes to it. However with the advent of MpegCarver you can trim files to frame-accuracy, cut-and-paste sections from one piece of footage to another and repair corrupted files. The software allows anyone involved in broadcast, post-production, animation or education to manipulate MPEG content on the desk-top. The audio editing capabilities mean that complete voiceovers or soundtracks can be added or taken away."
