OmniBus appoints John Cunningham to lead R&D initiatives in content management
OmniBus Systems has announced the appointment of veteran software developer and manager John Cunningham to the position of Executive Vice President of Development.
In his new role Cunningham will manage the entire development group dedicated to developing OmniBus software solutions.
"John is a very strategic addition for OmniBus, bringing to the company a long record of success in delivering software for advanced asset management, data transfer, and communications applications, and we feel his leadership will be important to the continued success of OmniBus within the broadcast sector," said Mike Oldham, OmniBus Systems CEO. "With over 20 years of strategic planning, acquisitions, development, quality assurance, and support experience, John will contribute a wealth of knowledge that will be valuable as we pursue development of our innovative suite of software products. We are committed to investing in advanced technology development and the human resources necessary to keep us at the forefront of our industry."
Cunningham was previously director of the UK and Ireland Development Centre for Computer Associates' Research and Development Division, with responsibility over worldwide engineering and project management teams.
While at Computer Associates, Cunningham led a restructuring of development teams across the United States, Europe and India, and also introduced a new project management monitoring and control system that improved overall focus and efficiency.
At OmniBus, Cunningham will lead the development group, which is one of the largest R&D teams in the world dedicated to creating broadcast automation and content management products.
