EDINBURGH FILM FESTIVAL SEEK UK FICTION FILMS
THE ORGANISERS of the Edinburgh International Film Festival are seeking UK fiction films, features and shorts for Film UK at the Edinburgh International Film Festival which runs from August 12 to the 26, 2001.
With a submission deadline of July 6, 2001, organisers are seeking details on all British productions completed within the last 12 months will be included in the Film UK Guide to British Film, published in association with the British Council, listing the British fiction feature and short films produced during the last year.
Distributed internationally to industry professionals, and given to all Film Festival delegates, the Guide forms an invaluable year-round reference book for anyone interested in British films.
The Festival’s Videotheque, where VHS cassettes will be made available for viewing by accredited industry delegates, will house a Film UK section offering cassettes of as many of the films in the Guide as possible.
The Videotheque is a valuable talent-spotting showcase and resource for all industry professionals. It will be open the entire length of the Festival where Festival delegates, buyers and press will have access to view the films.
If you have a UK fiction film that meets the above criteria, contact Claire Battersby for further information on Tel: 0131 228 4051. (CD)
