Trilogy appoints new Chairman and CEO

Trilogy Broadcast has announced changes to its senior management structure as part of its continued growth strategy.
Roger Henderson, formerly CEO of Chyron Corporation, has been appointed Chairman, and Mike Knight, formerly General Manager of Pro-Bel and a Senior Vice President of Chyron Corporation, joins as CEO. Roger Stanwell, who has been Managing Director of Trilogy since its formation in 1986, will become Commercial Director with a wide-ranging brief to develop the business, and holds direct responsibility for sales and marketing.
The retiring Chairman, Ray Hartman, who will become a non Executive Director, is delighted that Roger and Mike are joining Trilogy. He explained: "They bring extensive knowledge and experience which will be immensely valuable as Trilogy seeks to expand its business into new sectors and international markets."
Roger Henderson is currently a Director of Chyron Corporation and has a portfolio of other activities. He has a BSc in Pure and Applied Physics, an MSc in Applied Mathematics and is a Chartered Engineer. On his appointment, he commented: "Trilogy is entering an exciting period in its development. We have a great customer base in the broadcast industry and an opportunity to build on that. In addition, our IP-based communications products have penetrated substantial new markets, and I look forward to the growth that these sectors will afford the company."
Mike Knight has held a number of senior financial and general roles in mid-sized international technology businesses. He has a BA in Economics and is a Chartered Accountant and Treasurer. In taking on the role of CEO, he said: "I have known Trilogy for many years and I am delighted to be joining the company and working with Roger Stanwell and the team. Trilogy has a well-earned reputation for innovation and quality and I look forward to leading the business at such an exciting time."
