DNAV Set For Strong Presence At NAB Show 2025

DNAV is set for a strong presence at NAB this year by demonstrating comprehensive broadcast solutions that include centralized monitoring capabilities.

DNAV will be located at the Sierra Automated Systems (SAS) booth (W3249), next to Orban (W3243), and its solutions will be showcased across multiple booths, highlighting seamless interoperability between its partners.

"Our main theme at NAB this year is end-to-end solutions for broadcast, along with central monitoring," said Nick Straka, Principal, DNAV. "While some large operators have an NOC to centrally manage and monitor their facilities, many regional and smaller groups do not. DNAV, together with hardware solutions from SAS, Orban, Inovonics, and our own in-house development, can bridge that gap."

The company's newly announced SAS Transmission Router will be fully operational at the Orban booth, demonstrating real-time connectivity with SAS consoles and engines at the SAS booth. Visitors will see how the press of a single button can instantly adjust transmission routes at a remote site, reinforcing DNAV’s commitment to more efficient ways of broadcasting.

"The SAS Transmission Router dashboard provides operators with a clear, real-time view of their signal paths," said Straka. "With a single login, engineers can monitor and adjust their entire transmission chain, ensuring stations stay on-air even in the face of technical issues."

The SAS Transmission Router reimagines the 'endpoint' device that performs simple switching functions in RF and NOC environments as a smart device. An extension of the SAS Global Connect universal command and control system, the SAS Transmission Router is equipped with intelligent software for situational analysis of network and infrastructure performance.
