EvertzAV Underscores Its Leadership In The AVoIP Arena

News Image
EvertzAV, a division of Evertz Microsystems Ltd, underscores its leadership in the AVoIP arena by showcasing its state-of-the-art, IPMX-ready solutions at NAB 2025, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, between April 5 - 9.

NAB 2025 serves as a pivotal platform for manufacturers, integrators, consultants, and end-users to engage with IPMX (Internet Protocol Media Experience) technology. Located in the North Hall at Booth N915, EvertzAV invites attendees to learn more about the functionality of IPMX and the availability of products that are IPMX-ready. IPMX is a perfect bridge between the broadcast media industry using SMPTE ST 2110 and the Pro AV industry adopting AVoIP.

IPMX is a movement towards unified, scalable, and easily deployable AV solutions developed as a comprehensive AVoIP standard based on SMPTE ST 2110, and extending the proven broadcast framework to meet the complex needs of the Pro AV market. This groundbreaking standard not only promises enhanced interoperability across various media workflows but also ensures easy integration without proprietary barriers, delivering AV content anytime, anywhere, from any vendor.

Central to EvertzAV's NAB showcase will be its MMA broadcast quality IPMX-Ready Multi-Media Aggregation product line, an end-to-end AV over IP distribution and routing technology over 10/25GbE. The MMA solution offers scalable purpose-built Software Defined Networking (SDN) switch fabrics and MMA gateways that deliver no latency, lossless pristine digital video quality, with media interoperability to SMPTE ST 2110-20 and ST2110-22 (JPEG-XS) and for UHD (4K60/4:4:4) – ideal for system/workflows where media is shared between Broadcast and AV domains.

EvertzAV's IPMX-ready systems are NMOS compliant and support MAGNUM-OS for complete control and orchestration of resources utilizing intuitive HTTP/JSON interfaces, making these solutions not only futureproof but key in adapting to today’s diverse AV industry needs.

"IPMX represents a transformative leap forward in AV-over-IP, bringing a unified approach to interoperability that the industry desperately needs," says Paulo Francisco, Vice President of Engineering at EvertzAV. "EvertzAV is fully committed to advancing IPMX to meet the evolving needs of both the broadcast and Pro AV industries."

"Our focus is on driving the adoption of IPMX through continuous innovation and rigorous testing to ensure robust interoperability. As we move forward, our roadmap includes not only enhancing our existing IPMX-ready products but also introducing new solutions that further bridge the gap between diverse AV workflows, ensuring our clients receive the most reliable and flexible systems available."

With over 30 years of broadcast heritage, EvertzAV stands at the forefront of the AV industry, offering an unmatched ecosystem of AV solutions. As a proud member of the Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), EvertzAV is committed to advancing IPMX as the cornerstone of AV-over-IP interoperability.
