MCMILLAN ADD ANIMO TO 3D PORTFOLIO

DIGITAL MEDIA specialists McMillan have added leading 2D software, Animo and the plug-ins, Swiffworks and Inkworks from Cambridge Animation Systems to their extensive supply portfolio.
A flexible package, offering value for money software bundles; separate module purchase and floating licenses, Animo is used by studios around the world as the primary animation tool for all types of media. It has extensively featured in collaborative projects conducted over the Internet, by studios ranging from single person operations to major conglomerates. Animo provided the animation tools that helped artists create such heralded films as ‘Space Jam’, ‘Prince of Egypt’, ‘Iron Giant’ and the newly released ‘Osmosis Jones’.
Swiffworks provides Alias|Wavefront's Maya users with the ability to create Macromedia Flash? file format for output to the web. It is based on the core code exclusively developed by Cambridge Animation Systems for the cartoon renderers, Inkworks.
With the growing range of products and a planned move to new premises in the heart of Soho in the Autumn, McMillan are ideally placed to offer clients a total supply and integration service for all content creation needs.
McMillan, founded in 1982, includes a Digital Creations division based in Soho dedicated to the sale, service and support of 3D computer graphics products, including offerings from Discreet, AliasWavefront and the ground-breaking Shapesnatcher, 3D scanning system from Eyetronics.
