Pip Studios Appoints Head Of Client Services And Business Development

Pip Studios, part of Molinare Creative Group, has appointed Shannon Sewell as Head of Client Services and Business Development.

The appointment solidifies Pip Studios' stake in the market, with Sewell bringing a wealth of experience and a track record of success within the broadcast industry. The appointment marks Pip Studios’ next stage of growth as it embarks on expanding services as well as looking at other lucrative markets outside of media.

Boasting nearly a decade of experience, Sewell started out in broadcast recruitment. Here, she built her foundation and knowledge of the broadcast eco system. Since then, she has contributed to various organisations including Ortana Media Group, part of Iyuno-SDI Group. At Ortana, Sewell oversaw the global media asset management (MAM), software integration platform and tape digitisation services. Following her time here, Sewell joined Take1, shortly before its acquisition by captioning and transcription company, Verbit. Specialising in accessibility and localisation, Sewell’s role focused on retaining and growing Take1’s client base as well as expanding the company’s offering by selling Vitac and Verbit products. Sewell was the first person to sell Vitac's live captions to White Hart Lane under the acquisition.

In her new role at Pip Studios, Sewell will bring her experience and aptitude for problem solving to support the leadership team in delivering their growth strategy for 2024. As the company looks to cultivate its current offering to games and film clients, through the addition of new services, Sewell’s skill in forging strategic partnerships and identifying new opportunities will be a critical part in executing the company's plans.
