PRODUCERS TO SELECT BRITISH SHORT SCREENPLAY

THE BRITISH Short Screenplay competition have announced that the award winning producer of 'The Crying Game' Nik Powell, the BAFTA winning producer of 'East is East' Leslee Udwin and actor Charles Dance will be among the members of the panel judging the winning script.
The winning screenplay will be produced, premiered at BAFTA to an invited audience of producers, directors, actors, agents and writers. The film will also be shown in selected UK cinemas as well as being entered into international film festivals.
The closing date for entries is January 11, 2002. The winner's name will be announced on Kaos Films website in April 2002. For full details and entry form visit their website at www.kaosfilms.co.uk. (CD)
