REALITY TV INCREASES TRANSMISSION HOURS

REALITY TV, the action-packed channel has increased its transmission hours to 24 hours a day from 1 September.
The joint venture channel, owned by London-based channel providers, Zone Vision and Amsterdam's cable giant UPCtv, combines hard-hitting, real-life drama with a close-up look at the work of police, firefighters, emergency room medics and rescue teams.
Available to cable and satellite viewers in Europe, Turkey, Israel, the Middle East and Africa, Reality TV is a fully localised service that launched in December 1999, successfully reaching over 6000,000 subscribers across 75 territories.
Alongside the action viewers can find intelligent, probing documentaries and fun-filled looks at weird people, strange places and unsolved mysteries.
Fly-on-the-wall cameras record natural disasters and man-made catastrophes, observing the results of Mother Nature's fury and analysing the devastating consequences caused by human error.
Reality TV brings programmes both entertaining and thought provoking and takes viewers into the varied lives of ordinary and extraordinary people, shows them at home, at work and asks them about their hopes, dreams and fears. (CD)
