FULCRUM-WADDELL MEDIA JOINT INITIATIVE

A GROUND-breaking, new initiative, designed to source increased network programmes from the nations and regions, is about to be announced.
The joint venture has been set up between leading Northern Ireland independent, Brian Waddell Productions Limited and London-based FulcrumTV.
Fulcrum Waddell Media will have their headquarters in Holywood, Northern Ireland. The individual and collective reputations of the two parent companies will be turned to full advantage, in order to secure new television commissions, which respond to the broadcasters¹ commitment to national and regional quotas.
BWPL have produced many leisure/lifestyle series for the national and international networks. Their ground-breaking teenage series, “The Vibe” for Channel 4, won a number of national and international awards and the documentary “Put to the Test” won a Royal Television Society Award for best regional documentary. They are currently in production with a religious affairs documentary for Channel 4 and are on the point of announcing a major thirteen-part international commission for a leading US broadcaster. They are also producing two six-part series for BBC Northern Ireland.
