Two Four commissioned for international property series

Two Four Productions has been commissioned to make 'Sun, Sea & Scaffolding', a series of 10 x 30-minute documentaries for Discovery Networks Europe.
The series, presented by up-and-coming designer Ben Huggins and his wife Hannah, will follow a number of enterprising families who are turning their dreams of a life in the sun into a reality.
“For many people, moving abroad is becoming an increasingly attractive – and financially sensible option,” explains series producer Marcus Bailey. “With houses in need of some improvement often costing a fraction of the price of a London flat or a suburban semi the lure of the blue hills of Provence, the warm seas of Greece, the lemon groves of Tuscany, is becoming an extremely tempting option.”
In Sun, Sea & Scaffolding, Ben and Hannah will explore the process of buying abroad and then help with the challenge of turning a tumbledown property into a habitable home. They will advise on design, choosing and sourcing materials – in fact all the hurdles to be overcome when swapping gloom for glorious sunshine in Europe. Hannah will also be looking at the local lifestyle and architecture around each of the properties.
“The series will be an informative celebration of the vast range of lifestyles and properties on offer across Europe - a temptation to anyone ready for a life–change,” says Marcus. “We are interested in hearing from anyone who has first hand experience of renovating a property overseas so we can show what has been achieved – or from anyone who is about to embark on their own life changing adventure in the European property market.”
