The Mill continues to sweep VFX awards

The Mill has added to its impressive collection of top awards at this year’s D&AD awards.
Sony Playstation ‘Mountain’ picked up four pencils, including the award’s only Special Effects pencil, won by The Mill for their months of ground-breaking 2D and 3D work.
In total, ‘Mountain’ scooped a whopping four pencils for Special Effects, Direction, Use of Music and Cinematography.
No 2004 awards show would be complete without acknowledgements to Honda ‘Cog’ – another Mill project – which won three pencils for Direction, Sound Design and Best TV/Cinema. The Mill’s intensive 3D work for Radiohead ‘Go to Sleep’ received a book nomination and The Mill New York’s promo for Whitestripes ‘Hardest Button to Button’ was recognised with a silver nomination for editing.
