Innovative Softmicro offers 'creative digital solutions'
Softmicro, a multimedia, animation and digital solutions company, is to make its first appearance at the Broadcast Production Show on May 18-20 in Olympia, London.
Softmicro, which brings a stimulating “user focused” approach to the latest in digital technology, will be displaying beautiful interactive designs and 2D/3D visualisations, alongside high impact CD-ROMs and DVDs.
“Empowering your audience by means of accessible interactive infotainment in places that matter” said Softmicro founder David Scanlon. “This will allow your organisation to express itself in its own unique way directly with the people who really matter. Technology is becoming more affordable every day, it is accessible to anyone.”
Scanlon combined artistic abilities with new media experience to bring Softmicro into being in June 2003 and is now aiming to take his vision to the next level. He has expanded his staff, acquired the most up-to-date equipment and is enthusiastically seeking new clients.
Sofmicro utilise CD-ROM or DVD as a marketing or recruiting tool, or to create an interactive learning environment. One such successful project was “Shakespeare Interactive,” a CD-ROM developed for Lloyd’s TSB and the Royal National Theatre. The result was a fun, interactive experience that allows young people to explore Shakespeare’s plays.
Softmicro can provide every element of the production from initial consultation and creative treatment, through to interactive authoring, filming and in-house online editing.
