THE MILL POSTS 'YOUNG DIRECTOR' AWARD WINNER

Oscar winning visual effects facility, The Mill, completed the post production work on the winning film at this year's Nike Young Directors Awards.
Tunnel Vision, directed by Alex Soskin, picked both the Gold Award and the Audience Award. Mill flame operator Jason Watts worked on the short in The Mill's high-definition flame suite. Visual effects included removing camera and crew reflections from the windows of the tube carriage where the short is set. Jason also added additional digital video effects, such as camera shakes and picture overlays. The Mill telecine artist Paul Harrison graded the short film in Spirit.
