Avid reveal VideoForum line-up

Avid is to demonstrate the new version of the Avid Xpress DV software for the first time in the UK on Stand No. 210 at VideoForum.
The show, which takes place from the February 10-12 2004 at Wembley Exhibition Centre, London, also provides an opportunity for visitors to the Avid stand to receive product training and even free software.
Avid Xpress DV is the company's latest cost-effective yet powerful professional editing software. It will form a key part of Avid's theatre presentations and one-to-one demonstrations at the show, together with the Avid Xpress Pro software, which will be shown working with the portable Avid Digital Nonlinear Accelerator, Avid Mojo.
Avid will also run beginner and advanced level training workshops on Avid Xpress Pro systems throughout the show; visitors wishing to take part can collect tickets from the Avid stand on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitors to the stand can also receive copies of the Avid Free DV software, which provides an easy and free way for anyone new to video editing to test-drive the industry-standard editing interface and use basic video and audio tools.
In addition Avid will demonstrate the workflow between the Xpress family and a Media Composer Adrenaline system to show how projects can progress through the Avid family from start to finish.
Joining Avid on the stand will be Matek Business Media, the authorised UK reseller for Avid/Ocean Systems' forensic video filters, based on the Avid Xpress system, which are designed for usage in the law enforcement/security arena.
The products, including dTective and dVeloper, enable analysts to extract the best possible evidence from surveillance videotapes by clarifying, stabilising and enhancing the images.
