EMAP Media announce rebranded 2004 Production Show

EMAP Media has unveiled a name change for The Production Show and the details of Broadcast Week.
The 2004 event will be called The Broadcast Production Show and will take place from May 18-20 2004 at the National Hall, Olympia.
“The show has developed over the years and so we wanted the name to reflect its unified content as everything from pre-production to play-out and acquisition to transmission,” commented Imogen Jones, Event Manager. “The Broadcast Production Show will continue to be the only event where creativity meets technology and we already have a large number of exhibitors and associations support that reflects this diversity.”
Exhibiting companies in 2004 will include equipment, services, production, postproduction, broadcast, new media, audio and video technology. Visitors will be the first to see many new products launched at NAB in April. The event will also have a wide range of features including over 100 workshops, the popular Locations Village, and provide an ideal place for education and networking.
The Broadcast Production Show will form part of Broadcast Week – a programme of business and social events for the industry. Other events include the Broadcast Fives football tournament, a commercially focused conference for television and radio companies and the Broadcast Young Talent Awards. The popular awards will also have two new categories this year – Producer (sponsored by Avid) and Production Co-ordinator (sponsored by The Picture Canning Company).
