New BAL line-up at the Broadcast Production Show

BAL Broadcast will demonstrate its new multiviewer, BALPRISM, on stand B37 at the Production Show.
Other new products, including data inserters and Cat5 converters for SDI, will also be on show.
BALPRISM is a 16 input (SDI or Composite) multiviewer designed for use with high-resolution SXGA monitors and projectors. It can be used free-standing or controlled via standard Ethernet network, traditional automation control or GPI. Units will be on display demonstrating the superb picture quality and the ease of operation.
The BALBOX range continues to expand and the latest additions are in transporting multiple SDI signals over Cat5 cable and inserting data into SDI. The DIDX BALBOXES allow RS232 data up to 9600 baud to be inserted in such a way that the whole signal can be subsequently MPEG compressed, but the data reliably recovered following the compressed link. Another variant is available to pass simple GPI information through an SDI infrastructure.
The BAL Presentation products of clocks and logo generators will be on view, showing their station branding capabilities.
The popular Toolkit products can also be seen. This range of products includes hum-eliminators for audio and video (both analogue and digital), cable clones for HD-SDI and SD-SDI and passive splitters for both SDI and AES.
