Tatton Locations Appoints New TV, Film And Events Coordinator

News Image
Abbie Morrow has been appointed as the new TV, Film and Events Coordinator for Tatton Locations.

Ms Morrow, as part of her new role, is to work on the growing number of film and TV projects located across the Tatton Estate in Cheshire.

Over the last year the estate has hosted many high profile projects including Fox Searchlight's Tolkien biopic; new Netflix/Canal+ series 'Safe'; and BBC TV hits 'Peaky Blinders' and 'The Worst Witch'.

Ms Morrow brings significant production industry experience with her to the coordinator role. Beginning as a theatre intern at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, she now has expertise working as a production coordinator on more than 20 West End and UK tour productions with the Ambassador Theatre Group, including 'The Rocky Horror Show', 'Hamlet' and 'Glengarry Glen Ross'.

Ms Morrow said: "It's a very exciting time for Tatton Locations and I am looking forward to helping build it further and promoting the impressive range of locations and facilities we have available for use and also helping to make Cheshire Manchester’s back-lot."

"So far my career has meant that I've been lucky enough to work on some amazing projects and alongside some incredible talent, such as Christian Slater, Juliet Stevenson and Jesse Eisenberg, but being able to work in an industry such as this, in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, really is a dream come true."

Tatton Estate offers shooting locations across Cheshire and south Manchester.

With its new onsite base at Tatton Studios, Tatton Locations offers various on-site facilities for crews of all sizes, plus dry and secure storage for vehicles. Its offer includes a blank canvas of more than 50 acres with up to 300 extra acres available; two studios/build spaces; a broadcast standard 3,197 sq m green screen; an on-site location supply company; production offices and an open grass area for helicopter landings.

Charlie Greenstein, former BBC TV and National Geographic production manager, now head of Tatton Locations, said: "Abbie has accumulated great experience already and as our workload and pipeline continues to grow she has immediately become a major asset to the team. Her insight, enthusiasm and extensive local knowledge means that we will be able to build on an excellent 2017 and bring in even more big productions and events in 2018 and beyond."
