Profanity Delay For The Media Bunker

Time Delay TV is providing its profanity delay equipment for the live 'O2 Inside Line' from the England Rugby in Twickenham.

The broadcasts are transmitted live with an audience of over 500,000. SeeSaw Streaming provided the live facilities for The Media Bunker. Time Delay TV ensured that there were no slips of the tongue by the guest presenters and audience.

Neil Reed, of SeeSaw Streaming, said: "As the broadcast started at 14.00, and streamed around the world, we needed to make sure that our guests, who are known to get very passionate about the sport, didn't use colourful language. We worked with the O2, The Media Bunker and contributors to either self censor, or take the risk of being muted by the equipment on a five-second delay."

Sky's TV show Soccer AM uses the equipment for the odd slip-up of a guest's tongue, along with MTV's EMAs, BBC Music Awards, Big Brother, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, V Festival, The MOBO Awards and various live streamed internet events.
