New sponsors announced for Scottish Students on Screen 2004
Scottish Screen have announced three new sponsors for Scottish Students on Screen 2004, to run March 18-19 2004.
This year’s event adds a new interactive category to the competition and will feature a session on the interactive industries. Both the category and the session are to be sponsored by Interactive Tayside, a partnership initiative between public, private and academic sectors - led by Scottish Enterprise Tayside - to collectively develop and promote Tayside's digital media industry.
The second sponsors are Glasgow based postproduction facilities house Edit 123. Last year Scottish Screen found the staff at Edit 123 “outstanding in producing the screening tapes and awards ceremony tape at extremely short notice”, and this year the agency have formalised their relationship with Edit 123.
The third new sponsors are the Royal Television Society Scotland), who are offering all category winners free entry to the seminars they hold in Scotland. RTS run many useful and interesting seminars throughout the year and this prize will be of great use to the student winners. To find out more on RTS Scotland visit their website.
Scottish Screen have welcomed all the new sponsors to the project and thanked them for their kind support of the event.
