Chyron appoint Chief Products Officer

Chyron Corporation have announced the appointment of Bill Hendler as Vice President, Chief Products Officer.
In his new role, Hendler will be responsible for overseeing product management for Chyron's hardware and software products. He has been with Chyron for almost 25 years and was most recently Vice President of Chyron's Media Solutions Group.
Commenting on the appointment, Chyron CEO Michael Wellesley-Wesley, said: "Bill is not only a long-time Chyron colleague, but also a seasoned, well respected industry veteran who has been responsible for cultivating many of the strong relationships we have with major customers, and has also been instrumental in directing and implementing Chyron's innovative technology through the years. He has an exceptional depth of understanding of both the television market and the products necessary for Chyron to continue its leadership role."
Bill Hendler's involvement with the broadcast graphics industry dates back to a 1973 work/study job at Systems Resource Corporation, which later became Chyron. Since 1979 Hendler has held management positions in Product Development, Sales, Business Development, and Divisional Management. He founded Chyron's Interactive Television Division, and has a broad perspective in advanced television technologies.
Hendler is active in a number of industry associations, and is a past Vice President of the Advanced Television Forum.
