CHYRON DEMONSTRATE KEY PRODUCTS AT VIDEOFORUM

CHYRON Corporation, providers of broadcast technology, demonstrated products and services from all four of their divisions at the VideoForum at Wembley.
Chyron’s Pro-Bel Division demonstrated products from the Clari.net streaming media range, including Clari.net DualStream. Implementing the same 'headless' control philosophy as the single stream unit and offering enhanced functionality, the DualStream encoder allows two separate video feeds of the same material with simultaneous support of Real Networks and Windows Media codecs.
Pro-Bel probably best known for their routers featured Freeway at the VideoForum. The combination of two frame options, a highly modular switching card architecture and integrated control system enables Freeway to be tailored for all small to medium scale applications in the broadcast, transmission, post production and outside broadcast environments.
On display for the first time was the new 1U frame for the high end ICON modular digital processing system. ICON (pictured) provides comprehensive distribution, routing, processing, mixing and keying functions, the new frame is capable of housing three ICON modules and will suit many smaller applications where the capacity of the standard 3U frame is not required.
Chyron’s Graphics Division demonstrated the new DiGi-CODI, a PCI card with an advanced graphics processor that can work independently in foreground and background graphics.
Capable of running Chyron’s Liberty paint software, as well as a growing number of third party applications, DiGi-CODI brings the power of high performance character generation to the PC.
Cyron Streaming Services, the web design and services division of the Corporation, presented their strategic consulting, rich media website design, streaming media encoding and hosting capabilities.

Chyron’s new Interactive Division demonstrated enhancements to their Lyric compositing application that permit creation of both broadcast and interactive graphics for television. (CD)
