Chyron recruits new Strategic Marketing Vice President

Chyron Corporation has announced the appointment of Kevin Prince to the newly created position of Vice President of Strategic Marketing.
Prince, who will be based at the company's Melville, NY, location, will be part of the management team responsible for new product introductions, market branding and product awareness.
Announcing the move, Michael Wellesley-Wesley, CEO of Chyron, said: "We are delighted that Kevin has decided to join Chyron. His arrival strengthens our capabilities in serving our important graphics customers."
Prince said: "I looked at Chyron very closely and I'm excited to be joining a company with a strong commitment to the broadcast community. I believe Chyron's clear focus on graphics will serve their customers very well."
Previously, Prince spent nearly eight years with Pinnacle Systems in various positions within the graphics products group. He was instrumental in the development of products that included FX Deko, DekoCast and the integration of Vortex into the Pinnacle organization.
Prince has also held product marketing and management positions with Discreet Logic, Quantel and Alpha Image.
