Igloo Post complete 'Frank Skinner Show' titles

Igloo Post have recently completed the opening title sequence for the 'Frank Skinner Show'.
Igloo Posts MD and head compositor Brian Ainsworth said: "Bernard Heyes' seemingly simple idea of hundreds of Polaroids featuring Frank's previous guests thrown onto a coffee table and suddenly bursting into life proved an exciting challenge.
"The moment Bernard walked through our doors with this one, I knew we were going to have fun. We were lucky enough to be involved very shortly after Bernard's initial conception, and as such we experimented with the many different ways this job could have been accomplished. We looked into creating a complete CGI environment, this probably would have been the easiest route, but just seemed a little too slick and smooth and somehow less believable! Stop Frame animation came to mind, but this seemed a little too 'staged'. So a joint decision was made to physically throw the Polaroids into shot under a continuously moving camera. This gave us the loose reactive LE feel we were after. Then came the heavy session of tracking, matting, grading, adding false shadows and all the clever stuff, that if done well the general public fail to see. We all were very happy with the end result.A very 'simple' looking job with bucket loads of invisible post, great fun!"
