BTV Complete Full Post-Production For Factual Documentary

BTV completed full post-production for the factual documentary, exploring the gravity defying exploits of Abseilon Building Services; America's largest high-rise cleaning company.
3D and 2D deliverables were completed at the London and Brighton based TV and film post facility, with Soho based colourist and editor, George Dutton completing the stereoscopic 3D onlining with audio mix by Jon Gray, dubbing mixer for BTV Post.
Challenging shooting environments such as cityscapes and glass faceted buildings meant increased complexity in the 3D depth grade.
Post Supervisor and Operations Manager, Chris Gallani explained: "The depth constraints of shooting stereoscopic 3D were pushed to the limit in Sky High Scrapers. Being able to translate it into immersive 3D cityscapes within depth budget was the main challenge of the project."
Sky High Scrapers will broadcast over five, 60-minute episodes on Discovery and Sky3D. It was filmed using Red Epic and Sony TD-300 cameras.
The series covers some of the most dramatic, challenging and dangerous jobs on the East Coast of America. A poll of US workers revealed the profession to be considered as one of the most dangerous, in-between the Armed Forces and Bomb Disposal.
