EIFF announce spring events

The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) have announced their programme for the Early Spring programme in March 2002.
The film event will be a showcase of seven films, screened over seven successive nights, premiering at the Edinburgh Filmhouse, before moving on to Glasgow (GFT) and London (Curzon Soho).
EIFF artistic director, Shane Danielson, said: "These are smart, challenging and provocative films that, without the opportunity of a festival berth, could otherwise go unseen in this country."
The seven films, made in Germany, France, Norway, Iran and the US, begin screenings in Edinburgh on Wednesday February 6 and close in London on Thursday February 21.
For details phone the Edinburgh Filmhouse on tel. +44 (0) 131 228 2688.
