Clear Cut Pictures get a shot of Adrenaline

Clear Cut Pictures have purchased seven Avid Media Composer Adrenaline systems and an Avid Unity LANshare storage and network system.
The equipment, purchased directly from Avid, will also be supported by the manufacturer.
Clear Cut Pictures, whose recent credits include 'Masters and Servants', 'Portillo as a Single Mum' and 'Horizon - Last Flight of Columbia', chose the Adrenaline systems to meet increased demand for the facility's online services and their new out hire service. The seven Adrenaline systems join the facility's three Symphony systems, 20 Media Composers and three ProTools dubbing theatres.
The Adrenaline systems will be linked via the Unity LANshare system in order to share media and allow multiple access for larger projects.
"We chose the Adrenaline systems because of their speed, flexibility and multiple output capability. The new functions such as Symphony colour correction and 3D effects are a must, and will change the way programmes are being cut at an offline level," said Horacio Queiro, Company Director, Clear Cut Pictures.
