Tiffen International To Debut New Products At BVE

Tiffen International has announced it will debut two new Steadicam products at BVE 2016.

The Steadicam Pilot 2 is a camera stabilizer designed for a wide user base. It can be purchased as the sled alone, or with two Arm & Vest options for varying classes of camera weight. It has a payload capacity of 4.5kg with the SOLO Arm & Vest option, or a payload capacity of 8.5kg with the Zephyr Arm & Vest option. Battery mount types for the Pilot 2 include standard mounts like V-Lock and Anton Bauer, as well as an array of DV battery mount options. The Pilot 2 is offered with or without a 1000 nit HD Monitor and comes with a D-Tap power port on the stage for camera and accessory power. The detachable base ensures the sled is easy to break down, transport, and rig.

The Steadimate gimbal adapter will also be on display at the show. The arm and vest adapter can be used with gimbals such as the DJI Ronin. It takes the load off an operator's arms, allowing use for hours on end as well as enabling effortless tilting of the camera. Operators can interchange between hand held use or arm & vest use. It is sold as the adapter only, or as a complete system with an Arm & Vest.

The new Steadicam M-1 rig will be at BVE, as will Tiffen filter products, including three new diffusion filters – Black Soft FX, Black Glimmer Glass and Black Pearlescent. There is also the new Multi Rota Tray and a new range of IRND combination filters.

Also on show will be Lowel's new PRO Power LED, ideal for focussing location lighting, and Lowel's new LED system, Prime Location.
