Alpha Grip Debut Scorpio Arm At Aintree

News Image
Alpha Grip debuted their new Alpha Scorpio Arm at this year's Grand National at Aintree.
Alpha Grip's new Alpha Scorpio Arm is a specialist camera tracking vehicle, usually found on blockbuster film sets around Europe.
Designed and built in-house, the Alpha Scorpio Arm provided live coverage for Channel 4 Racing at Aintree.
With an 18ft camera reach, the Scorpio Remote Arm was able to achieve shots never seen in horseracing before.
The Alpha Scorpio Arm is one of the latest specialist camera tracking vehicles introduced to the company’s fleet. Recently added is their new battery powered camera dolly, The Shadow Tracker, and The Scarab, an all-terrain tracking vehicle that’s designed to carry the heaviest of telescopic cranes to the remotest of locations.
