New Composer And New Camera Feature In LA
The AM Film Festival will open at the end of the month in Los Angeles and new horror film 'S.N.U.B' from Angry Badger Films will be shown at the event.
'S.N.U.B.' is the first film to be shot using Sony's PMW-EX1 camcorder, which was chosen for its low-light potential, which was perfect for the film, which was set in an underground nuclear bunker.
The film was written and produced by John and Pete Adams, directed by Jonathan Glendening, co-produced by Ron Purdie ('Death On The Nile', 'New Avengers', 'The Professionals') and stars Gary Mavers ('Peak Practice'), Alice Henley (BBC's 'Rome' Part II), Zoe Robinson, Sara Lloyd Gregory, Tom Cotcher, Ben Row, Claire Spence, Charlie Watts, Paul Bryant, Magda Rodriguez, Danny Tennant and Joseph Millson, with casting by Miranda Gooch.
The film also features a new score from the experienced pen of Phil Lawrence in his most commercial feature so far.
Phil has also helped produce and record a new single for the film with the Tin Soliders.
Phil Lawrence has previously been nominated for a British Academy Composition Award in 2004, in conjunction with BBC Radio 3, against Sir Max Davies and Sir Harrison Britwistle.
