Rushes team completes New Order promo

Rushes' new promo department, Adrenalin, have recently completed work on New Order's latest promo 'Here To Stay'.
This black and white promo film transports the audience back to the heady days of the late 70's to early 90's at Manchester's renowned Hacienda Club. Paul Gore's work is inter-cut with footage from Michael Winterbottom's latest film '24 Hour Party People', which features the track 'Here To Stay'.
The promo is atmospheric and conveys the madness and angst of this now famous period in rock 'n' roll history. Jon Simm stars as New Order front man Bernard Sumner and Steve Coogan plays Factory Records supremo Tony Wilson.
The camera follows the action as we see New Order perform on a small sweaty stage as the audience go wild. Ralf Little plays Peter Hook and we see the frenzied interaction between these larger-than-life characters. There is a feeling of paranoia as we watch a photographer desperately trying to get shots of the boys and Jon Simm on the verge of losing it as he walks endless backstage passages, the atmosphere intensifying all the while.
Rushes Telecine Artist Mark Gethin used his expertise on their new Spirit to create the mood whilst Omar Akkari conformed it in Inferno.
Adrenalin Producer, Jonathan Davies, said: "What a fantastic project to kick off the new department with! As a huge New Order fan it was great to work on one of their promos."
