Munro refurbishes Sky Sports News studio

UK-based studio design consultancy Munro Associates have recently completed the acoustic refurbishment of a presentation studio at Sky Television.
The studio, which forms part of the sports presentation facilities for Sky Sports News, is based at the broadcaster’s headquarters in Osterley, west London.
Vaughan Rogers, Sky’s Head of Sound, said: “The studio is used in situations where we have one presenter speaking to camera. As it was originally designed as an office, the acoustics left a lot to be desired. Munro Associates were asked to refurbish the room to improve sound quality. The work they have carried out has made an enormous difference to the overall acoustics.”
