AKA Design Transforms Studio For Music Production

AKA Design has designed and installed a new suite for music producer, Lee Baron, at his Dorset-based studio space.

The new system combines the popular AKA ProWave racks with custom worktops and was fully designed and visualised on CAD before anything was built or installed. The furniture – crafted from white powder-coated moulded engineered wood with lino inserts – provides the perfect environment for Lee’s creative composing, mixing, editing and production work.

"From my basic concept, AKA Design provided me with a full layout that would work with my requirements, delivering a 3D visual so I could see exactly how it would look when finished," commented Lee Baron. "I needed something to house all my DJ and music production equipment, so AKA designed and built an extremely high-quality desk for me, which was installed very quickly too. They've helped me change a modern office space into a fully-functioning creative studio space."
