Quartz to launch Topaz at IBC

Quartz Electronics will showcase the new Topaz routers at IBC2003.
Designed for cost effective use in applications demanding a high level of specification, with no compromises in performance, Topaz offers all the control flexibility for which Quartz is renowned, in a compact and affordable package.
Models include 16x16, 32x16 and 32x32 SDI/ASI in 2U. With over 150 channels shipped worldwide, the successful QMC master control range from Quartz expands further. The new QMC-TCS Twin-Channel system is ideal for multi-playout systems, with a low cost-per-channel and up to four independent channels in a 3U frame. QMC-TCS extends the QMC range, allowing a single integrated system to cost effectively cover all master control requirements, from a simple automated keyer, through to the most demanding live channels.
IBC also marks the launch of the QMC-HD master control switcher, which extends the power and versatility of the QMC to popular high definition formats. All models in the QMC range can be mixed in a single system providing unprecedented scalability across formats and features.
The full range of Quartz routers will also be on display, including the new multi-format options for the Q256-DA audio router, and the latest software enhancements to the Quartz control system.
