Axon Delivers First Master Control System

Omroep Zeeland in the Netherland has received Axon Digital Design's first master control system SynMC.

Omroep Zeeland is the broadcaster of the Dutch province Zeeland and is already for many years one of the best viewed and listened to regional broadcasters of the Netherlands. Omroep Zeeland shows the many faces the province Zeeland has on internet, television and radio. It broadcasts audio and video 24/7 and strives for constant high quality broadcasts. Because Omroep Zeeland always operated without a Master Control part of their production environment was constantly in use. In order to operate more efficiently a Master Control was crucial. Axon's master control (SynMC) played an important role is this. The final situation has led to a cost reduction and improvement of the quality and continuity.
Omroep Zeeland turned to Axon for its master control requirements because the known reliability and stability of the Axon products.
Through one of its channel partners, D&MS, AXON supplied the Synapse-based SynMC master control module together with AXON's monitoring and control software Cerebrum. The combination of SynMC and Cerebrum enables Omroep Zeeland to fulfil its master control requirements against a lower cost than previously and with a far easier use, but still with the same high quality and stability it was used to. The installed system also has a high redundancy and is equipped for manual override.
