Capital Fx installs second Celco Fury

Optical and digital effects company, Capital FX, has now increased its film recording output capabilities with the installation of a second Celco 'Fury'.
The European company uses Celco 'Fury' technology to record onto various film stocks from 2K, 3K and 4K Data, all tape formats including DV and HD.
However, in an exciting move to offer complete end-to-end solution for producing Digital Intermediates, visual effects and titles, Capital FX and Red have joined forces.
It is now hoped that the vast experience of newcomer, Russ Wetherell, to the company, will compliment the existing team.
Finally this year’s expansion of the CFX Denham studio is will provide all the necessary facilities for digital compositing, film recording and full film restoration.
